Step-by-step guides to get the most out of FileRack.

Tutorial 1: Setting Up Your Dashboard in 5 Minutes

1. Register at filerack.com/register.php.
2. On the Setup Wizard, choose up to 4 categories from the library (or create custom ones).
3. For each category, add the sites you visit most. Just paste the URL — the name and icon fill in automatically.
4. Click Save & Go to Dashboard. Done!

Tutorial 2: Making Your Profile Public

1. Log in and go to Profile (top-right gear icon → Profile Settings).
2. Toggle Make profile public to ON.
3. Fill in your display name, bio, and location if you like — these appear on your public page.
4. Save. Your profile is now live at filerack.com/u/YOUR_USERNAME.
5. Share that link anywhere — social media, email signature, bio links.

Tutorial 3: Importing Bookmarks from Another User

1. Visit a public profile, e.g. filerack.com/u/don9Cell.
2. Click a category header to expand it.
3. Click any site row to expand it, then click Import Site.
4. Or click Import Category on the category header to grab all sites at once.
5. The imported sites appear in your dashboard under the same category name.

Tutorial 4: Using the Compact List View on Mobile

1. Open your dashboard on your phone.
2. Tap the ≡ List button near the top of the page.
3. All sites collapse to a single line showing the icon and name.
4. Tap any row to expand it and see the full details.
5. Your view preference is remembered for next time.
